Wild adventure awaits at Northwest Florida’s largest zoo! Hand-feed giraffes, visit the free flight aviary, experience unique encounters with Nile hippos, Indian rhino, giraffes, sloths and more.  Take a nostalgic 15-minute narrated train ride thru the African preserve on the zoo's classic CP Huntington style locomotive. Watch rhinoceros, deer, antelope, and zebras roam free on our 30-acre preserve. From the train visitors also get a close-up view of our gorilla family and our huge Nile hippos. Train rides run hourly throughout the day. The Gulf Breeze Zoo is privately owned and receives no state or federal tax support. Through admissions and animal encounters, each guest contributes to the conservation programs. Open daily, rain or shine! Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
